It's not about ever doing it and not getting caught, or even getting caught. The point is, it is ILLEGAL to drive faster than the posted speed zone. You have all the controls to speed or not, that choice is yours. So you have nobody to blame but yourself. Of course nothing is illegal until you get caught as the saying goes. But you run the risk of bad things happening every time you do, regardless if you get tagged or not.
My beef is with the whining and crying that comes along when people DO get a ticket for speeding and then try to act like "well, I wasn't hurting anyone..." Perhaps not today, hopefully never, but there may be a day. Grow up and get some responsibility for your own actions, and maybe I can put my little "thumb" violin away when I see these kinds of posts.
It just amazes me how much time and energy and $$ people try to spend to keep from getting a ticket or trying to reduce fines, etc. in court, when all they had to do was take their foot off the gas and save a lot of headache and hassle for everyone. I'm not kidding myself thinking everyone will heed that advice, but think outside the box before you speed on the roadways.
