Not sure if I believe this. For the most part, this issue had blown over. Why would Toyota do anything to bring this issue back to the public's attention, even if it supposedly exonerated them?
Toyota screwed up bad enough with the pedal issue to begin with. If this does turn out to be true, that would be epic. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
