Evan Smith from Muscle Mustang & Fast Ford mag drove a pre-production 2003 Mustang Cobra to a 12.43@113Mph in bone stock trim, including tyres.
Apparently it dynoed at 370RWHP, which is around 425Hp at the engine on their Dynojet Dynos.
Looks like it was a pre-pro so your arguement is out the window
