My first car was handed down to me in 1985 from my dad, it was a 1973 yellow with brown wood panels Ford LTD Country Squire station wagon with a 429 CID that got around 7 mpg. Good thing leaded gas was under a dollar back then and even free for while. The best thing about the car was that it had an optional keg holder in the very back, all you had to do was open up the third row seats and a keg would lay in there just right.
