PS3 only had memory leak issues and games freezing. That was the equivalent of RRoD
As for the Blu Ray vs. XBL:
if you have a whole libray of Blu Ray DVDs that you'll watch regularly, PS3 isn't a bad choice at all, it's a combination of games and movies.
My question to you is.
What do you plan to do more? Play video games online or watch blu ray movies? That's the system you should get.
