I remember back in the late 80's and 90's when GM was making the craptastic 3rd Gen Camaro/Firebird cars like the RX7, 300ZX, and Supra were giving them a run for their money. By the mid 90's the MKIV Supra had actually outperformed the C4 ZR1 Corvette. And I'm not saying that any cars out there are better performing than the Camaro SS, I'm not but the competition in the next few years is about to really heat up. The Camaro SS isn't in the cross hairs but the Camaro V6 is...

Agreed. I really commend GM on the Camaro. The Camaro SS should be able to hold its own for quite a while. It will be interesting though after 2012 though esp with the next gen Mustang, and Toyota and Nissan's RWD 2+2 seater 2dr coupes....
