I don't like calling it that either. I think the V-series Cadillacs should be badged to remove the T, which implies touring. For example, the CTS lineup should be titled as follows: CTS or CTC; CSS-V or CSC-V. The vehicle is clearly a sport vehicle, not a touring vehicle as the name would imply. The final S refers to being a sedan, which the coupe is not. The whole Cadillac naming structure has lost its purpose. The last time Cadillac had a coupe, it was the ETC, and it was correctly labelled based on its heritage as the Eldorado Touring Coupe (ETC). The Catera Touring Coupe (CTC) should get the same treatment with the added benefit of renaming all future sport models as Sport Coupe or Sport Sedans.
Maybe Cadillac should just go back to naming its cars. I'm not a fan of abbreviations for most vehicles. Letters stand for something. Let people know what they mean.
