I hear ya, and I understand exactly how you feel.
In 2004, my 1970 GS455 clone- which had just gotten all new bodywork, weatherstrips, ect, looked like a new car again was sideswiped while parked. The girl who hit it
tried to run, but was
stuck on my car. I've had that car since I was 17, in '89, I've built everything but the transmission and rear end myself.
In 2008, on the same street, my '97 Rivi was sideswiped, and the person made a successful getaway at night.
On July 4 of this year, somebody hit my '07 Sol GXP while parked, and then screwed.
So, I understand how you could probably and quite cheerfully strangle the a-hole that hit your car!
