Or maybe it's just the fact men think they have to drive faster then everyone else, in most cases? Same with the age groups quoted above.
I know in my late teens, early twenties, I was in a hurry everywhere. Toss that fact in with me being a male, and you can see why those statistics point the way they do.
Also, the number of tickets go up as the speed does. What does that say? To me, at 9mph and under, with a good attitude, no ticket, 10-14mph over will probably get you a ticket without perfect attitude and or a great excuse. 15mph over, forget it. You are getting the ticket. How do I know? That's my mentality when writing tickets.
