Well, surely you agree, we HAVE to have taxation.

Ok, so then I'm sure you and me agree that we need to barbaricly cut spending. There will be pain at first, but in the long run, we would be better off as a country.

I'm more speaking in terms of how to handle it NOW and not how it should have been handled all along. We have to get to a point, and can't get there overnight.

Maybe I'm mis-interpereting the fair tax. But if we could get the taxes from EVERYONE, then yours and my taxes will go down. Right?!!!

Sure, I believe too, that it would only allow them an opportunity to spen more, and they would, but I'm for it because it lowers MY taxes due to EVERYONE paying. If nothing else, it's better than the current system.
