Unions are at fault. When they first formed, they did good for their people. Once OSHA and other federal agencies came about, Unions were not needed to police companies. But they persisted and continuously demanded more and more or else they'd strike and shut down the factories.
Corporate greed also counts too. But then how come the "foreign" companies like Toyota and Honda who also build in America don't have to pay their people near as much as the "American" companies?
