Machine tech for GM Powertrain w/ 32 years. Chosen 3 months ago to be on the launch team machining connecting rods for the upcoming new Chevy Volt and Cruze Turbo engines. All new dept. with 6 new machines, a washer, and a weight classifier which weighs each connecting rod at the end of the process, so this way, each engine at assembly will have the same-weight rods installed. Balanced and smoother operation.
