This has been a tough day for me for 2 reasons:
First - my older son is traveling to Russia to go to school right now, and he is not real good about keeping in touch, so as a mom, it's heartwrenching...I feel like he got launched to Mars...I have no way to call him and no phone info for where he will be staying...the only way to reach him is through email, and WIFI is not always available...I am proud to say that I have raised a fiercely independent young man, however it is a blessing and a curse...
Second - I found out yesterday that my close friend Mike that I bought my Camaro from is deathly ill in ICU in the hospital right now as we speak and I actually started a 'prayer thread' for him to get through this alive and well...
So, 'Donna Day' came at just the right time to put a big smile on my face through my many tears today...
Thank you all for caring enough about me, just a regular person, and not anyone important enough to deserve my own 'day'...
I do appreciate all the love and support from my C5 family....
