This is where I would usually say something sarcastic, but Toyota has me so baffled by this one that I all I can do is tell it how it is.

Toyota has sued a gargantuan dealership chain for expanding into another region.

The expansion includes acquiring Lexus and Scion franchises.

Evidence suggests that Toyota does not want Group 1 to sell those vehicles.

Toyota has not publicly explained the objection.
