Check out username lostnight on here. 2011 v6 Mustang, auto with 3.31 gears. He's done no better then 14.5. So, I wouldn't so far as to say that the v6 can't compete with the new Mustang, not until we see more of them in the hands of everyday drivers.
Btw, as wbt and I have discussed in another part of the forum, I know lostnight didn't have the best weather. So his times, both due to weather and time in the car, will probably go down. But as of right now, it's not a 13 second car, as the mags will lead you to believe they all are. It's still a quick pony, and will make the strip all that much more fun!!
