I recently had a similar experience...I called prior to my new car's free trial running out and wanted to add it to my existing account that has our other cars on it. We pay by the year, but the person kept giving me conflicting amounts it would be, so I told her to bill me (so I could see in writing how much, and why). I did not provide my credit card information and stressed for her to send a bill. Then a few days later while paying my credit card realized they had charged my card over $200-way more than one year for a third car! They had my credit card infomation on file and chanrged me without authorization-which is illegal. I had to call three times to get it fixed. They had charged a variety of "fees" etc. All was corrected but what a hassle! They had been fine for years, but maybe it's the merger?
