I didn't see that one coming...
Considering they're not really even close in price, how can they be measured against one another? I could never figure that out. I don't even think a comparison to the GS is fair, because they're not even the same car type. Two seater against a four seater. Pure sports car against a pony car. I don't see the reasoning. Believe me that I'm not trying to take anything away from the GT500, because, frankly, I think it's a great car on so many levels, but it's just not the same.

Wait... So, you're telling me a GT500 has more history than a Grand Sport?... I don't recall exactly when Shelby started making, even AC Cobras (what, like '64 or '65 or something) but hasn't Grand Sport, at least in race form, been around since like '64? Regardless, when did the GT500 even originally appear anyways? If nothing else, history-wise, I'd personally say that one has much more of a "history" over the other.
I think it's a bit of a shame if Dodge doesn't bring the Challey' more into this fight. I dont' have a doubt it doesn't have the potential; I know the engine certainly does, and it sounds like the chassis is every bit as capable. I think it does great the way it is now, but I really think they need to get on the gas more.
