The 6.4 would weigh about the same as the 6.1 it replaces. Adding displacement doesn't really add weight to an engine. Could even be lighter, if they replace the iron block with aluminum. And the weight gain from the 8 speed will probably be closer to 25 lbs, not 250. Beyond that ... there isn't really anything that could add weight.

Should be all Aluminum I believe as it is based on the newer 5.7 and not the older 6.1. Also it is getting electric power steering which should save a few pounds as well as reduce power loss to the rear wheels
