From what I can gather...that's pretty much the jist of it.
Ever wonder why things are so much cheaper to make in Japan? Parts, toys, food. You name it.
If the Yen value increases, then the prices across the board should level out, and Toyotas, and Nissans, and everything else that comes over here, won't be as cheap as they are (comparatively). It wouldn't neccisarily mean we'll export more to them.
I'm no expert either, but that's how I read it.
