My father is on in his years and everyday we are happy for another day together. He is 1200 miles away, but we talk once a week and I still look to him for guidance, thoughts and wisdom. Fathers subliminally teach you more than you ever know until they are gone.
I am now a father and try to instill in my children the values that we all were taught and grew up with. But those values came from our fathers and their fathers before them.
And as I said before, you took the time to let my children "walk with you" and my daughter still tells everyone how she met Bumblebee's Dad.
