I've been struggling recently with the same decision. The market is terrible, and my car might not last long enough for me to save for my Camaro SS, so my alternative is buying a used C5 Corvette. They're sexy, and the aftermarket is strong for cars built for such performance.
I'm really struggling here with this decision.
Obviously, I'd still be on this site, saving up for my 6th generation Camaro.
