"0 to 60 mph in 5.5 seconds and the quarter-mile in 14.2 at 102 mph" <-Cobalt SS.

102 mph 1/4's for both and within .1 sec 0-60 so that's basically up to the driver. Basically the SS just picked up the baton that the SRT4 dropped on the ground. Awesome little car though.

^^^That is the link where you got that information. Good find. However, that is for the 2003 SRT-4. The 03 didn't have a limited slip differential, it had smaller fuel injectors, a weaker PCM calibration, 15 less hp, and 5 lbs less torque among other things when compared to the 2004 model.

Here is the article for the 2004 SRT-4 also from car and driver:

"The '03 car ran to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds and cleared the quarter in 14.1 seconds at 102 mph. The '04 model nipped 0.3 second off the 60-mph sprint (5.3 seconds) and ran the quarter in 13.9 at 103 mph" -Car and driver

Well, I know what you're saying. I could comfortably afford a new V6 Camaro but I know that just won't make me happy. As much as I care about styling, I just can't get over performance. The V6 was never an option for me. It was SS or nothing.

In a way I agree with you. Usually, the SRT-4 is a type of car that is owned by younger people. Younger people tend to really push a car to its limit on the street, track, or just going to the grocery store. I also tend to think they are willing to do modifications and tuning to a car even though they have no clue what they're doing.

Trust me, that was a huge concern of mine. However, this car only had one owner. Over nearly 4 years, the car only has 20k miles. Best of all, the owner is over 40 years old. This vehicle is hands down the best bet I could find over the last 4-5 months of looking.
