Germany for example is spoiled with some mega brands like VW, Audi, MB, BMW and Porsche. Somehow Audi, BMW and MB can survive despite overlapping one another. But the American Big 3 should model themselves after the Audi-BMW-MB triumvirate of excellence.

I think Chrysler will get back into it shortly, they just weren't already in that process like GM and Ford were (which is the only reason you're seeing these nice new products now). So in 3-4 years they should have some nicer stuff coming out.
