agreed. I see GM and Ford really trying hard to compete, but I just don't see the same level of rigor from Chrysler. A pity. I think every major nation needs 3 main players to balance each other out.
Germany for example is spoiled with some mega brands like VW, Audi, MB, BMW and Porsche. Somehow Audi, BMW and MB can survive despite overlapping one another. But the American Big 3 should model themselves after the Audi-BMW-MB triumvirate of excellence.
