Thanks Scott. This was a cool read. Thankfuly I still have my father, however, he lives 2800 miles away. It realy sucks sometimes. BUT..... he left his mark on me many times. I met my dad when I was 5 and a year later he married my mother and adopted me and my brother and sister. I don't know that I could ever do that. He raised us as his own and through the years it was almost forgotten that we weren't his blood children. That Erma Bombeck peice describes my dad to a tee.
