LOL Well since you asked, I'll continue that story. At first I thought so too. I mean, he can't exactly play up the 2011s when he's trying to close a deal on a 2010, so I pressed the issue. I said "No, it's not a chip. It's an entirely new engine that ford has been working on for a while. In fact, it's the return of the 5.0 after all these years! I'd think that should be big news to Ford!" He basically said he hadn't heard of that, only that they would be getting a HP bump in the next model year and assumed they would "chip it". Even that made me chuckle, because they haven't had to solder a new ECU chip into a car in quite a while either. So then he said "Well if you buy this 2010 today and it's still under warranty, come back when the new ones are out and we'll swap out that engine for you!" LOL I should have got that in writing from him!
This was a young guy, I'm guessing 21 or 22. He was NOT well versed on cars. I won't even go into all the things he claimed about the Camaro because it's so laughable that some people would think I'm making it up
