The GTR is pretty much everything the Camaro isn't. The expensive high tech GTR isn't appealing to those who want an affordable rear drive car with a big V8. They gave it launch control that gives it insane 0-60 times. The 3.3s 0-60 is how it recieved so much attention on the internet over the last couple years. Then we learn that using it voids your warranty. Using it excessively requires a new 20k transmission. Then there is the 'ring time. It doesn't matter how good of a braking system it has, or the yaw control, or DCT, or short gearing, etc. Fact is, 480 hp in a 3800 lb car does not equate to the lap time it had.
