Consider this: the LFA's V10 is based on Toyota's Formula 1 engine technology, and makes
115 Hp/Liter, naturally aspirated, with a 9000 rpm redline. Street-ready, and certified.
The ZR1 makes
103 Hp/Liter, with an intercooled power-adder. To equal the LFA, the 6.2 needs to make Hennessey numbers and, in a Camaro, costs more than a base ZR1. Hennessey still has some for sale...Lexus doesn't...and Hennessey's production target (24) is 5% of Lexus...
The Ferrari 599XX, a track-only purpose-built darling with 720 n/a Hp from 6.0 Liters (120/L) barely surpasses the LFA...for a paltry $1,500,000 per copy... Yeah, they're all spoken for, too...
