I can find no information on that. Truth be told, you could get most any suspension to hop if you abuse it or it's not tuned correctly. I think the G8 is aimed at a different audience than Camaro; with that said, I could see that they may not have felt the need to invest in straight-line tuning as much as general handling. I am interested in seeing if there are similarities, in halfshafts, with Camaro though. I've already tried searching a bit over on a G8 site without success. I'm sure the rear on that is more stout than that on the first of the last run the GTOs since the diffs' are strenthened moreso in G8s. There's no reason to worry
