They've already sold
all 500 before the first production version sees the light of day...and they had "letters of interest" from

As was asked, previously, "If they only built 500 ZR1s, what would they fetch, price-wise"? Take the development cost$, add the new bits 'n pieces to an
existing chassis, and divide by 500... Now, sell 'em...
It's like asking why a Rolex Executive costs $20-25Gs. Doesn't really matter, cuz they sell 'em out, anyway...
NOT in the numbers Timex does, but Rolex doesn't compete with
them...
