It was a rather involved process. Which is why I did it when I was off so I had the time. The day I picked was super hot and I was in the driveway for hours with no shade. I was drinking water but it didn't matter. I could tell I was getting light headed and needed to get out of the sun but I couldn't leave my truck as it was and my tools were everywhere so I pushed on. Well eventually I got extremely dizzy and walked by the back of my truck near the house to get into a little shade and sat down. I got really sick and began vomiting up the water I was drinking all day and felt like I was going to pass out. It was the middle of the day during the week and no one was around. I was behind my truck and my other car was parked next to it. I saw cars drive by but no one could see me lying there. I almost passed out completely but just layed there trying to rest for a bit and stay awake. When I got enough energy I struggled to get up. I was almost done so I struggled to finish putting the last wheel on and gathered my tools up and put them in the front hall way of my house. At this point I was on empty. Completely exhuasted and sick. I crawled down the stairs and into the downstairs bathroom and layed on the cool floor. I was sweating so much my back had suctioned me down to the tile floor. I could tell I needed to cool down immediatley. I began stripping down to nothing and crawled into the shower and turned on the cold water. I closed my eyes and sat in the shower for a good 15 minutes until I felt better. It was really scary. Quite a few times I thought I wouldn't make it, but the thought of my mother coming home and finding me dead kept going. You really need to be careful in hot weather and you really need to pay attention to your body. When you feel sick chances are it's already to late an you need to immediately get to a cool place. I was lucky I felt like crap for while after that. So yeah be safe everyone!

WOW, so sorry you had to go through that...it sounds like a miracle that you are still alive today to tell your story...
Thanks for sharing it with us to give others a chance to see just how serious and dangerous the heat is...
It is no joke when we are told to stay well hydrated and out of the direct sun on extremely hot days....
Be careful guys!!!...
