nope, MAP sensors (i think) were what they were called on 3rd gens. now as for replacing it... if you dont want to go thru the hassle of de-screening and porting the stock one... Ive got an aftermarket one that was descreened and ported/polished.
you can add a horse or two by descreening it and porting it. plus, like most things on a car, the stock one does wear out after a while. and if ur like me, if ur already replacing, why not upgrade?
