I can say this; As a business owner, I have changed my tune on so many things it's not even funny. Like offering new customers deals and not giving your loyal and long term customers the same deal. It used to really piss me off. I was like,
"WTF, noob gets half off as a congrats for not buying all this time and I get a full bill?" Well, it makes perfect sense. Profit margins are often paper thin, and I can't afford to give the deals to my existing clients. Deals get noobs in the door. In big companies they have stockholders etc. to please. Bottom line is what it's about. If you don't change as change is needed, you end up in trouble.
