It should be one and done for drunk driving. First offense - year long license suspension plus mandatory car impounding (so ppl dont just drive with a suspended license).
And I don't understand why we can't have a 10-year minimum sentence for killing someone while on the phone, texting or driving drunk
5 year minimum if someone is seriously injured, 10 year minimum if anyone is killed. If someone put a prop up here in CA, I know it would sail through no problem. Driving's privilege
