I remember my 1985 AMC Eagle wagon I had about a year ago..was surprised how well it handled the adverse conditions I drove it in..I actually miss that straight 6, 4 wheel drive car..:(
However, if I where in the market for a SUV, I'd go with a Tahoe, Trailblazer, Yukon, and etc. Jeeps are not that bad either and some are fairly nice. Also, as sterlingnotes has suggested, I've heard the Camaro is fairly decent in the snow
