Instead, is there anybody on the boards that could us what they like and/or dislike about driving the Current Mustang? (no flaming) I think that could provide some valueble insight into what Ford could/probably will improve to keep up with the Camaro. |
I actually just test drove a 2007 Mustang GT last week. I went to the Ford dealer to check out the competition with a buddy of mine who is currently looking for a new GTO. I was disappointed with the power (or lack thereof) in the mustang. It didn't have much pull in the low end. It was a comfortable ride and the tranny was very smooth, but it didn't feel very strong. After the test drive I went down the road to the Pontiac and took a 2006 GTO for a spin and left there with a HUGE grin on my face. I really don't think that the Mustang and GTO should be in the same category. Others might disagree but that's my $0.02.
