I'm not so sure about that, The ford uses its 8.8" rear end, it's not that strong, at least nowhere near as strong as fords 9" rear. The 8.8" rear is there just because it is cheap. If the camaro IRS provides 0 wheel hop as has been said before on this site, then the camaro will be the better dragster too because it has over 100 mor hp. My brother use to have a 2003 svt cobra pumping 15 psi into the 4.6 thanks to a smaller pulley. It was WICKED even though it had a IRS, It still murderd everthing. Too bad he had to sell it. The 2003-2004 SVT cobras were the best mustangs ford ever made.
