Just go after the older used pedal style ones, $100 gets a nice one still.
The pedal ones are better too, #1 if it won't run, just pedal your butt home.
But it can help you skirt some laws as it can go anywhere bicycles can, where "motorized vehicals" can't. See the 5.0 coming, just kill the engine and start to pedal. Like taking a short cut down a 45-50MPH road where it would be illegal for a moped, if you "pedal" its now a bicycle n they can't say shit.
Folks do that around here as by law you can't get to allot of places if you stuck to the 35MPH roads only.
