The definition of Insanity is doing the same thing an expecting a different result. The big three have to change, they have started, but they have a ways to go.
Your frustrated Blur, we all are and we all want our Camaro, now. But we can't keep our heads in the sand, we have to face this huge problems and your right they are interconnected and they leave little room for your own errors. In the end I want the American economy to be robust and healthy and I want GM to be the same, and last and least I want my Camaro!

This isn't about the Camaro for me. If I'm lucky, I'll be getting a 2012 Camaro. It's about protectionism. I'm furious that Americans don't see that they're being manipulated in the auto market. Every company posts ads about their products. Do they not see that the G8 is better than a 5-series in every category or that the Aveo is actually better than a Fit? Add to that the fact that Japan injects insane amounts of money into Toyota to develop that Prius, a hippie-supported, styleless mistake, while GM has to build the Volt and a line of fuel-efficient hybrid SUVs with its own resources. If America gets anything from this mess, I hope we learn to protect ourselves. There are more ways to invade a country than raising flags and bombing borders. We're looking at a market takeover here. All 3 major American car companies are collapsing. It's not just one bad company. Doesn't that suggest that there's more to the problem than just bad management?
