Not sure what above is your words, or theirs...but 40+miles of all-electric, and 300+miles at 50+mpg...is alittle more than the grocery store and back. And at only 10,000 units the first year all those $40,000 cars can easily be sold...ask all the people who buy $60,000 Escalades for themselves...if the car is special enough, it'll sell. But in addition to that, the gov't will be subsidizing them $7,500 per car for the first 250,000 cars.

Economy sucks = people don't buy things = big three don't sell cars and were in the middle of an expensive restructuring = big three is HUGE trouble.

Why can we not blame the ecnomy? It has everything to do with their CURRENT situation.


It is supposed to be their first substantially profitable small car...ever. But I'm not sure that one single car, be it Camaro, Volt, or the Cruze can 'save' GM...or else they'd have been saved umpteen times already with their recent releases...
