I went to a Ford dealer last weekend and they were on us like white on rice. They bent over backwards to earn my business and they did. Drove home a new 2010 GT500.
Sounds like either you were impatient, worked with a inexperienced salesman, or did not express yourself as a serious customer. As a Camaro and Mustang owner myself, I really doubt your profiling of Mustang "buyers" is very accurate.....
