let's see hmmm , the 2009 GT weighs 3480 p the 2010 SS weighs 3900 p + (auto) that's OVER 400 POUNDS more , very unlikely that the 2010 STANG will gain 400+ pounds since they are using the same platform as the 05 , get real

Let's be reasonable. They're refreshing the appearance, but they aren't really putting out anything we haven't seen. The interior is a huge improvement over the boring, cheap, and ugly mistake of 2005. The exterior is basically inspired by performance Mustangs already on the market. In other words, the GT500 became the GT. This isn't anything new. The weight difference is worthy of concern, but I feel that the Mustang lacks basic features, like IRS, that make the Camaro a superior car. In the area of performance, I can imagine that the weight helps, but buyers who try out the Camaro and Mustang will overwhelmingly point out that the Camaro is easier to drive or just feels better. You don't need to go for a test drive to see that the Mustang is underwhelming on paper in comparison. If you don't believe me, go for a test drive when they are both released.
