Guys running really big turbo's on the Audi 1.8L engine's are making 800+hp, many guys are in the 400-600hp range, and just about everyone is in the 300-400 range (including me). Tell me a supercharger could do that.

Its a function of boost, nothing more. To get really high power numbers use a big supercharger and spin the heck out of it. Same as with a turbo. But will anyone actually bother to do it? No, because its easier and a bit more reliable to get 3 atm of boost out of a turbo. But it
is possible.
