Hey Everyone, the first Car I drove was a 62 Ford Galaxie, it was a year younger than I was, I was about 10 at the time. I used to sit next to Dad and shift when he pressed the clutch, yep the good days when kids didn't have to be in a seat belt.(Hey ever wonder why motorcycles don't need em, I think we're being discriminated against) First car was a 69 Mercury Monterey, 429 with a 4 bbl, man that car would spin that 1 tire until it blew up, I would buy another $10 dollar tire every week. This was in 1979, we went to a Rush Concert, with 5 of us in the car I was doing 115mph and it wasn't even punched, that car felt like it was floating on the ocean. I realized i was in a 10 year old car and I slowed down. LOL I still act like that in my vehicles.
