[RANT] HBSC is trying to pull a fast one. I'm not one to look at my statement much (yeah, that's my fault). I simply send a payment and they leave me alone.
However, I just HAPPENED to glance at it tonight. Those ass suckers who issued my GMextended family Card (measely 1% return for purchases) have been, for the last three months, charging me for some optional account payment protection service. 1% monthly fee on any balance.
The problem is, I NEVER signed up for it, as I don't NEED it. I can cover my own debt. Don't want it, and I'm not going to be paying for it. It's a pure ripoff and was never authorized.
It's not the money so much as the principle of the thing.
If any of you work for HBSC customer service, hope like hell you aren't the one getting my call in the morning.
