Came close when I was being shot at by the stupid gangbanger on January 7, but I was able to get cover so while I was ready with hand on grips, I never needed to draw... Sumabtch is lucky I had the restraint to not put two in his chest...but I carry to preserve my life in an emergency where I have no other options, not engage in a gunfight unneccessarily.
(I carry a Ruger P345 in .45, North American Arms Guardian in .380, and/or Ruger GP100 in .357 magnum & the wife has a Ruger SP101 in .357 magnum)
