Well folks, here it is, everyone!!!...6000 posts in approximately 1 year!!!...
I joined last year on 5/9/09, 10 days before I took this amazing journey to not only getting a new Camaro, but to making so many amazing Camaro friends, who are now my Camaro family!!!...
I feel like we have been on this amazing journey together, sharing each other's highs and lows...laughing and crying with each other through our triumphs and joys, as well as our sorrows and pain...
But through it all, the bottom line is that we have 'been there' for each other, through thick and thin...cheering each new owner on, and sharing our Camaro owning experiences with each other...
So, I want to say a big thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul for sharing this journey with me, and making me feel so loved and appreciated on here with a group of great car enthusiasts who are predominately male, but have made 'this girl here' feel like 'one of the guys'...
And, not to leave the ladies out, you have all become my 'Camaro sisters' for life, I hope...
I have been fortunate to meet some of you in person, and for those that I haven't met already, maybe I will see you someday at one of the many Camaro meets, where the love of the car, and each other is the best feeling in the 'Camaro world'...
A few of you know that I lost my beloved Dad a few months before ordering and taking delivery of my car, and also that I have been very sick for the last 2 and 1/2 yrs (long story-don't worry)...my brother likes to tell everyone that his sister (ME) didn't just buy 'a car', but a whole new way of life, as well as a great hobby and a whole new group of terrific friends...
I treasure each and every one of you on here that have made me feel like the Camaro is more than (as the Fbodfather put it) 'just a car'...
We, the happy, ecstatic, elated, and amazed owners, know for sure that it will never, ever, be 'just a car', but a passion unlike any car most of us have ever owned continue to experience every single time we turn the key and 'drive it like we stole it'...
