Art Arfons (born February 3, 1926 in Akron, Ohio) was the world land speed record holder three times in 1964 - 1965 with his Green Monster series of jet powered cars, after a series of Green Monster piston engine and jet engined dragsters. He subsequently went on to field a succession of Green Monster turbine engined pulling tractors, before returning to land speed record racing.
As I said there is only 1 Green Monster lol Google it and see what the first hit is!



Part of the original ballpark construction of 1912, the wall is made of wood, but was covered in tin and concrete in 1934, and then hard plastic in 1976. A manual scoreboard is set into the wall. Despite the name, the Green Monster was not painted green until 1947; before that it was covered with advertisements.
