I read all of this, what I want to know is, Who brings in the money? Does she work or just you? I think she has issues with not being happy with herself and thinks that all these things will make her happy. My "ex" (yep we divorced & I have money now) had a thing for clothes, shoes and stuff. I finally "made" her sit down and take all the clothes she didn't fit and stuff that were out of style and have a garage sale, she didn't work so it was community property, we split the money we got from the garage sale. Don't keep her barefoot and pregnant cause the kids are more expense, she'll have to buy designer clothes for them too. The gf I have now works and we keep our money separate. I do what I want with mine and she does what she wants with hers. I pay the house expenses and she buys the groceries. If we use my vehicle for something for her she pays the gas and vice versa. Sometimes u will have to put your foot down and put up with her being pissed or she will control u and don't let that happen.
