This joke makes no sense. The 5.0 was never a 4.6 liter to begin with and it makes over 400 hp, why would it wish to be a 4.6 liter again lol.

The 2011 GT-500 has a supercharged 5.4 liter engine with 550 hp now. It's over 100 pounds lighter with better tires. Who even says GM is making a new Z28? It's all speculation but Ford does have the new GT-500 with 550hp coming out anytime now. Besides the 225 hp 5.0 could usually outrun the Camaro's 5.7 liter engine during the 80's and early 90's even though the Camaro had 245, it weight more, was an automatic (for years you couldn't get a 5.7 liter Camaro with manual) and had better gears. The only real time the Camaro got faster was in 93 with the LT1. I remember articles saying that the 5.0 Mustang kicked sand in the 305 Camaro and 350 Camaro during the 80's and early 90's until the LT1 came out and started destroying the 5.0's. It's not Ford's fault that Chevy couldn't produce a 5.0 liter engine worth a crap. It's not Ford's fault that it's small 5.0 could run with it's 5.7 Irocs. Chevy always had to rely on Displacment to run Ford's smaller engines. I mean look at the new 5.0 liter compared to the LS3. 5.0 vs. 6.2, that is impressive on Ford's part.
